About the Project

The Roger Williams University Library and Archives is launching a project to encourage students, staff, faculty, administrators, and alumni to document and share their experiences during the coronavirus outbreak. These experiences can be related to your studies, research, work, and everyday life.

Material can be in the form of written work, artwork, photography, audio, video, etc. However you choose to document your experience, the archives can provide a long term home for your material. We are offering you two options:

  1. You can donate digital items to the online COVID-19 Experience Collection by using the "Contribute an Item" tab above.
  2. You can donate items to the physical COVID-19 Experience Collection, by bringing or mailing them to the library once the university has re-opened. You can also use the "Contribute an Item" tab above to share your intent to place an item in the archives when we re-open.

We are also collecting recommendations for books to read during this stay-at-home time. Send your recommendations to Prof. Adam Braver, University Library Program Director.

If you have any questions about the project, please contact Heidi Benedict, University Archivist.
